PERSONALITY

Ichiro Yamada is a name well-known in the four divisions, but especially his own — Ikebukuro. He has a good heart, even if he's quite the delinquent. On the matter of delinquency, Ichiro used to be a lot harder than he is now; he'd run the streets in the name of making a better life for himself and his younger brothers — Jiro and Saburo — but this all made him cold and even cruel to them. In return, they hated him.

Yet at the present canon point, Ichiro is well-loved by the pair, and the fans of his division, Buster Bros. He's generally pretty level-headed now, except when it comes to the leader of Yokohama's Mad Trigger crew, Samatoki Aohitsugi. It's in his presence that Ichiro loses his cool and goes all hot-headed and rash, to the point that his little brothers had to attempt to talk him down from anything stupid. He has a strong sense of justice, hating to see the weak get bullied. Also pretty friendly and affable, Ichiro can make a friend just about anywhere.

ABOUT

Ichiro lives in a universe where, after World War III, women have taken mens' places at positions of power. They've also stripped the weapons from them, and in Japan, sequestered themselves behind walls in a district called Chuuoku. So in order to get ahead in the world, men take to battles of word and wit, with the aid of special microphones called hypnosis mics.

These microphones can affect a person's state of being, should they be used with phrase and intent. Ichiro himself used to be a part of a legendary four-man division called The Dirty Dawg. They split for reasons yet unknown, and the four of them went off to form their own divisions to represent Ikebukuro, Yokohama, Shibuya, and Shinjuku. Now he leads his two brothers in a division called Buster Bros, going to Chuuoku to battle it out with the other three divisions, all in the name of supremacy over one another ...

APPEARANCE

At 6'0", Ichiro is a pretty tall 19 year old. His frame is solid, but he's not very cut. He has short black hair that falls into his face a bit. The really striking feature about him is his eyes, however. He has heterochromia, and the colors are unusual — his left is red, and the right, seafoam-green.

He carries himself well and confidently, befitting of Buster Bros' leader, and of someone who gets along with most people he knows in his neighborhood. He typically dresses himself like a bit of a punk, though not nearly as much as when he was in TDD at seventeen.

ABILITIES

~~Rap wa kan no tamashii da!~~ Ichiro's abilities lie in his skill with words and his wit, as well as the improvisational skills. He can freestyle rap when put on the spot, and that's a large part of his livelihood.

While he's good with his words, that skill would still be relatively useless without the enhancement his hypnosis mic gives it. The mic augments diss tracks, making them physically and mentally hurt the person they're hurled at; or they even bolster oneself, should they hype themselves up lyrically.

He's also good at a street fight and running from the cops! Definitely a boy you want to bring home to mom.
