Personality: Ichiro used to live in an orphanage with his brothers Jiro and Saburo; he did what he had to in order to survive and secure a better future for the three of them. This amounted to him becoming a debt collector under a group called Stairway to Heaven. With his then-partner, Kukou Harai, he did the dirty work that his higher ups demanded of him. Though he worked hard for Jiro and Saburo's sakes, he was still callous and terse at worst, and cold at best towards. It drove his little siblings to detest him, but to him, all that mattered was securing a brighter future for them.

He's driven and determined, loving and loyal, as though the ends justify the violent and illegal means. His family means a lot to him, even if at one point he didn't know how to tell them that through words. All he could do is show them, through attempts to make their lives easier and much more comfortable.

At present, he's hard-pressed to respect someone if they can't walk their talk; hence, why he was so focused on the doing part of getting their lives together, instead of just talking about it like a dream.

Respect, to Ichiro, seems easier to take back than to give, however. When he was in a division called The Dirty Dawg, he respected Samatoki greatly, and it's even suggested that Ichiro once regarded him and the other two members as his brothers.

But after the division broke up, Ichiro flies off the handle at the mere sight of Samatoki. It's to the point that his little brothers had to talk him down from truly going off the deep end with him. He can be as mean and dismissive and cruel as he was in the past, but typically his battle opponents are the only ones to see that. During Buster Bros' battle against Mad Trigger Crew, Ichiro stated that he worked himself up way too much, far above what was necessary. It was that, he said, that netted Buster Bros their loss.

Though The Dirty Dawg disbanded, Samatoki is the only one he's on bad terms with. He's quite friendly with Jakurai and Ramuda both, even though they're all technically rivals. He even helped Ramuda by pulling some info on his prospective teammates, Dice Arisugawa and Gentaro Yumeno.

He has a code of honor about him; he protects the weak when he can, and has a strong sense of justice, something a lot of fellow delinquents can't claim. It's rubbed off on his brothers as well, especially Jiro. Raising Jiro and Saburo to be strong and well-respected men is one of the greatest things he can do, or so he says.

He does tend to baby them a little now, though, sometimes taking great care with Jiro, who isn't the brightest, or gently guiding Saburo, who can be cruel and full of himself.

Ichiro doubted the both of them when they first begged him in tandem to let them join his new division. As actions matter more to him than empty words and false promises, he had the pair do some work for him. He was surprised when they both pulled off their tasks but, after another test against his hypmic, he deemed them fit to join him.

That is perhaps one of his greater weaknesses that folds in on itself; he desperately wants to guide his brothers into success and strength in adulthood while, at times, he doesn't exactly believe in them as fully they do with him. For example, after Matenrou's win above Mad Trigger Crew, Ichiro thanked them, realizing his mistake in not fully believing in them. He also owned up to his mistake with getting heated over Samatoki, stating that if he were calmer and more focused, that he could have secured a hard win.

This shows his introspective nature, and with his promise to go forward with number one in mind, it also shows his resolve and convictions. He's generally confident, but confidence boils over into cockiness in his rhymes.

He's also very protective of his hobbies, which are basically just reading light novels and watching anime. Sometimes Jiro watches with him, but anyone who dares to pick on him for it gets a solid beatdown.

He always works his hardest, at the end of the day.

Abilities/Powers/Weaknesses & Warping: Other than being excellent at freestyling rap verses and quick-thinking in general, Ichiro doesn't have any powers.
Inventory: A hypnosis mic; this special microphone allows Ichiro to effect someone's nervous system and state of being, should he use words and intent with the mic as a medium. This can hurt someone, make them feel dizzy, or even heal the user.

His speakers; shaped like turntables, these speakers appear from behind him through the same technology that his microphone uses. They amplify the power of his raps.

Writing Samples:

ONE

( There's no impending beat to match the hammering of Ichiro's heart, this time. No, now his nervousness is only met with atrocious silence and the darkness of the Deerington streets. Still, he has his knuckles closed tight around the mic he came with; if there's something out there, he'll deal with it just like he always does.

Right?

Something tells him he's out of his league, here.

But where does the fear come from? He steadies his quivering breathing, his shaking limbs. Yet no later than a moment's passed when there comes a rustle of brush to his left, causing him to stiffen.

Its a deer. )

Shit ... Scared me.

( He doesn't relax for a minute; the creature is deep purple, dotted with spots of white, with gold antlers. Certainly like nothing he's seen before.

He comes closer to Ichiro, nose down in a show of peace. )

I hope you're the scariest thing I see tonight.

( His smile is soft, tentative, a hand coming down to pet at the velvety nose of the deer.

Maybe things will be okay, as long as he works towards it. Or maybe its just the deer calming him down.

Either way. Better not think about it too hard. )

( He scratches at his chin a bit. )
